Strategy - Dairy Beef Research Centre

SEGES Dairy & Beef Research Centre accumulates cattle farming skills, activities and interests in consulting, research, development and innovation, and public affairs.

Danish dairy farms are among the world elite when it comes to efficient production, animal welfare, low medicine consumption, low mortality and low impact on nature, climate and environment. We aim to maintain this position.

Our mission is that Danish cattle farms produce healthy, safe and sustainable milk and beef for the whole world.

Our vision is a profitable, sustainable, resource-efficient and internationally competitive milk and beef production in Denmark, where production of milk has increased to six billion kg, and beef production has increased by 20 percent in 2020.

Danish dairy farms produce healthy, safe and sustainable milk and beef for the whole world. This requires that the most skilled cattle farmers and the latest knowledge are in play within the stables.
